Become a Driving Instructor with ALG

Being a part of ALG gives you a range of benefits compared to being independent:

Good rate of pay:

We offer very good rates of pay, and our commission is very low. This way, you will be able to make a good living teaching people to drive in West London, which is a very enjoyable and rewarding profession compared to office and call-centre work.

Steady stream of work:

With our online advertising and marketing, we will find you clients and driving students willing to learn and this enables you to be working for your hourly rate (around £30 per hour) for 4-8 hours every day, so you can make a very comfortable living while teaching people how to drive safely and properly.

We can arrange cover:

If you are ill or your student needs a lesson on a particular date, we have several other driving instructors in the area who may be able to cover for you, if required. While there is no guarantee of cover, this is still a much better situation than being an independent.

We can help with training:

We help with initial training, and will also help with ongoing training. With driving regulations and standards changing and improving all the time, refresher courses and updated periodic training may be necessary in many cases. ALG has the knowledge and facilities to help you keep on top of this.

Work in any area of your choice:

We are based in West London and Middlesex, and aim to continue expanding into the surrounding area in the future. We are especially looking for drivers who can serve Kingston-on-Thames, Hayes, Harrow, Ealing, Richmond, Staines, and Walton-on-Thames.

If you have had a driving licence for over three years, and have less than five penalty points, you can be eligible to become a driving instructor, and we would love to hear from you. With our guidance, training assistance, and ongoing support, you can be a driving instructor in West London with ALG Driving School.
