ā€¢ ALG Driving School Instructors have the right to choose their pupils as they have a right to refuse any of their pupils without having to give a reason why.
ā€¢ ALG Driving School instructors must teach their learners to the highest standard of driving regardless of where they come from or their background or colour.
ā€¢ If the pupil is late for a lesson, a pre-test lesson, or a mock test by 20 minutes or more the instructor has the right to cancel that lesson and charge the full amount for the lesson booked.
ā€¢ Due to traffic conditions or incidents, instructors may sometimes arrive late for a lesson. In normal circumstances, the instructor will get in touch with the pupils and let them know. If the starting time is delayed more than 20 minutes, the pupil has a right to cancel that lesson and reschedule another one
without charge.
ā€¢ Lesson Cancellation has to be 48 hours before the lesson starts time. Late cancellation will be charged fully to the pupil.

  • Before booking any driving test, it should be discussed with your instructor. Ā Ā 
  • For pupils who only hire a car for the test, they need to be assessed by one of our instructors at least three working days before the driving test.
  • DVSA cannot cancel any driving test booked in less than three working days, so please book your assessment earlier.
