ALG Driving School Instructors have the right to choose their pupils as they have a right to refuse any of their pupils without having to give a reason why.
ALG Driving School instructors must teach their learners to the highest standard of driving regardless of where they come from or their background or colour.
If the pupil is late for a lesson, a pre-test lesson, or a mock test by 20 minutes or more the instructor has the right to cancel that lesson and charge the full amount for the lesson booked.
Due to traffic conditions or incidents, instructors may sometimes arrive late for a lesson. In normal circumstances, the instructor will get in touch with the pupils and let them know. If the starting time is delayed more than 20 minutes, the pupil has a right to cancel that lesson and reschedule another one without charge.
Lesson Cancellation has to be 48 hours before the lesson starts time. Late cancellation will be charged fully to the pupil.

ALG Driving School instructors have the right to and should refuse to take any pupil to the driving test if he or she believes they are not ready.
Before booking any driving test, it should be discussed with your instructor.
For pupils who only hire a car for the test, they need to be assessed by one of our instructors at least three working days before the driving test.
DVSA cannot cancel any driving test booked in less than three working days, so please book your assessment earlier.
